The City of Los Angeles is accepting applications for the Slow Streets L.A. program, which restricts street traffic to give local residents more room for safe recreational activities.
The limited program will limit Slow Streets to local traffic and parking to give residents more room to enjoy the outdoors safely. Safer at home rules limiting public gatherings still apply.
According to the city, Slow Streets closures will be limited to no more than 25 city blocks on local residential streets only. Temporary closure materials will be deployed on the streets as these closures are not meant to be permanent.
We’d love to see some of these pop up in DTLA! Applications and details can be found online here.
